I just posted a blog about my experience this weekend shooting without a hat. I typically wear a ball cap to keep my field of view focused on the target area. However, this past Sunday I forgot my hat and shot a terrible round of 25 (19 x 25). I promptly bought a hat in side the club and score picked up nicely for the next 100 (99x100).
I rarely see shooter's without hats. What do you think? Hat or no hat?

Newbie to the site.
I have only been shooting for about a year. My stepson shoots on a high school team, so i decided to give it a try an love it.
Hat or no hat. I prefer the hat. It seemd to keep me from squinting in bright light conditions. My stepson on the otherhand, never does. He has tried it and says it doesn't work for him.
