Shooters get taste of Olympics PDF Print E-mail

Clarksville facility has course similar to one at Games

The opening ceremony for the Olympics is still a few days away but shooters from Middle Tennessee can get a taste for the Games thanks to an early arrival at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex.

The facility near Clarksville was scheduled to receive its first International Trap Bunker in August, but it arrived early and already is in use.

The International Trap is also called an Olympic Trench and is an Olympic sport. Men's and women's trap shooting competition in the Olympics will take place Aug. 8-12.
