Free Seminar to Feature Introduction to Shotgun Shooting

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. -- Three Quarter Circles Sporting Clays is offering area residents a free introduction to shotgun shooting and firearm safety.

A First Shots® seminar will be held July 13 at 8 a.m. at the range located at 26185 US 40 W in Steamboat Springs. Class size is limited. Pre-registration is required by contacting the range at 970-846-5647. Visit the range online at www.3qc.net for directions.

Designed for first-time shooters, the seminar includes both classroom and range time.

First Shots® is an introductory program that provides the public with opportunities to give shooting a try. Developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and hosted by independent shooting facilities, First Shots provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to shooting by qualified range operators and instructors that includes gun safety, local ownership requirements, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and how and where to continue.
